My name is Peggy Dohlman. I have been married since 1970 to Donald, a wonderful man who spoils me. We have two boys, actually men now. Our first son, Matthew, has a B.S. degree in medical technology and a Master of Health Science degree from the University of Oklahoma's physician assistant program. He is practicing in a dermatology office here in Tulsa. He is married to Jennifer, an accountant, and truly an answer to a mother's prayers for her son. They finally presented us with our first grandchild, Katelyn Rose in March '07, and what a blessing she is!!! Our second son, Ryan, has a master's degree in physical therapy and is married to another Jennifer that goes by "Jen" (yes, I have two Jennifer Dohlmans, and I couldn't be more pleased!!!). Jen has her master's degree in clinical counseling and is primarily working with senior citizens right now. Ryan and Jen live in Altus, Oklahoma. Don and I are very proud of our children, as I am sure you will quickly find out shortly after meeting me. You will also soon learn that I will love getting acquainted with you and your family.

In 1970, I graduated from Loma Linda University in California with my bachelor's degree in dental hygiene. I worked in a dental office for about six years before going to work for the Tulsa City-County Health Department. While working there, I also worked on and completed my master's degree in public health. I have written health educational materials for both the county and state health departments. Education and learning is a love of mine. I also taught in the evening adult dental assisting classes at VoTec for several years.

When my youngest son started kindergarten, I decided I needed to be home after school with my boys. I had just had some electrolysis done on my upper lip and asked the electrologist what was required to be an electrologist. I had the prerequisite already, so I applied to begin training. After my training and passing my board exam, I became a registered electrologist in Oklahoma. I have been licensed by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision since 1985. I love my work. Some people have asked me if I get bored just removing hairs all day. Never am I bored. Every person I meet is different and soon becomes a friend. My work is every woman's dream - friends dropping in all day just to visit.

I am a Christian and make every effort to run my practice on the Christian principle of "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you", the Golden Rule. I do my very best to treat you as I would expect and desire to be treated.

I am a member of the American Electrology Association and the Oklahoma State Electrologist's Asssociation. I have also been an instructor of electrolysis for several years.
